This is really a non-story. Just about everyone I've talked to loves the fact that OS X is being continually upgraded. No one is being forced at gunpoint to update, and people who use the OS all the time (such as myself) get improvements much sooner than waiting for some giant service pack. If someone really is annoyed, they could just wait until 10.1 comes out in July. No biggie.
