Except that the terms "artist" and "Ms. Spears" do not go together. She's a professional entertainer, not an artist.
Unfortunately, artists who would have the balls to make this stand generally don't have the financial clout for it to make any difference.

I changed my Altavista bookmarks to http://www.altavista.com/sites/search/text yonks ago when they started with all the graphics stuff.
Still prefer Google's results, but Altavista delivers better with complex searches.

I noticed the lack of springboard modularity too.
Funny that they should abandon what has basically been their chief selling point over the Palms.
Anyhow, if you wait till mid '02, they're releasing a colour version ( Treo 270, $599 ).
No details for that particular device, but this looks like an integrated VisorPhone module.
The providers for the VisorPhone module are Cingular Wireless and VoiceStream.
