Hey, I don't suppose anyone's noticed/.'s new advert.... for extremetech. Just the kind of hardware site that this article is talking about. Hey, I hope this comment isn't censored...
I don't really see how this is relevant. Napster is now only of historical interest, considering we have opennap, audiogalaxy, IRC, the mp3 newsgroups, FTP, etc. Not to mention gnutella and its clones.
They started something nice, but it's time to say goodbye and move on.
And guess what... here in Britain we pay $6 for a gallon of petrol (about 80p/litre). And one of our major political parties has just launched its election campaign, promising to cut petrol tax to.... 73p/litre (or thereabouts).
Oh, and we pay 4.50 ukp for a pack of smokes (although many go to France to buy them).
I once read about a boy who got expelled from school for drawing a picture of a colt. Oh, and another who got sent to the headmistress for reading a bible, and his parents were called in.
