wayV (http://www.stressbunny.com/wayv) provides Graffiti recognition, and it can be trained to recognise many other shapes.
At the moment it doesn't do keyboard events (coming in version 0.2) instead it starts
applications when it recognises one of the shapes drawn (fully configurable).
