Uhmm.. this makes absolutely no sense. Or are you just trying state the obvious?
Here's your statement:
If an (insert object here), which normally moves at less than (insert slow speed here) where to travel that fast, it would be travelling 5000mph.
What object does not work here? Any object in the world, from antelope, to zipper, would work.
If a stupid geek, who kept repeating 'all your base are belong to us' and normally moves at 2mph, where to travel that fast, he would be travelling at 5000mph (and hopefully would be ripped to shreds).
Well, the problem with that is most of those links are about the original Bonobo.
It's a primate! And having taken an anthropology class, it's the first thing that came to mind when I saw the link.
So... from following your wonderfully discovered links, they'd learn that there was a post about a new version of a primate. Or perhaps the first, non beta version, of a primate.
Parody is probably, by far, the most protected form of free speech. There are many many precident setting cases. Many of which date from the earliest years of the US when governors/mayors would get upset at a newspaper columnist's cartoons and try to get him arrested.

How can you say that Hacker's was realistic? That's about the stupidest thing I've ever heard.
Yeah, that part with the viruses was really realistic. How they danced across the screen like big packmans.
And how the super computer was devised of those big pillars. That was realistic too. And how when you hacked into the super computer, you floated around in these big pillars and stuff.
Workarounds? For semi-major features of an OS?
There's no monitor support... but I could hook up a teletype.
How's that for a work around?
I just... for some odd reason... want a complete OS when I purchase one. If MS would try this type of crap, the out cry (and mockery) would be deafening.
Yes, it's _finally_ out! Thank goodness for that, the latest iteration of the greatest OS for multimedia functions ever.
Now, I got OS X installed. Let's go watch some DVDs!... oh... er... wait.... no initial DVD support.
Heck, watching DVDs isn't that big of deal. I think I'll just burn some new CDs to listen to in my car!... oh... damn... again... uhm... shoot...
I think I'll just look at the pastel colors...
woop.
1.5 megabits per second down max, 384 guaranteed 384 megabits per second up max
Guranteed 384 megabits per second upstream!!!!!! Holy balls! Where do I sign up???
1.5 megabits per second down max, 384 guaranteed 384 megabits per second up max, 128 guaranteed ~100 megaBYTES per second down actual ~10 megaBYTES persecond up actual SF bay US +5 static ip's $80/month
Am I the only one finding that sentance to cause actual retinal damage? What the hell does it all mean? It's almost painful to read. And sorry, but you're not getting 100 megabytes/second for $80.
not trying to be rude or anything... but if I had made that comment... I'd probably change my slashdot username. That kind of remark could follow you around for a long long time.
Come on now... your child playing violent video games does not cause him/her to become a killer/rapist.
Bad parenting/lack of good parenting is a much bigger factor. If you raise your kid right, it won't matter how violent the games they're playing. They'll still make the right decisions about life.
See... we'll make some hydrogen powered generators to create the hydrogen we need to power the hydrogen powered cars. Then to power those generators, we'll make even bigger hydrogen powered generators... and then bigger... and bigger! Amazing!
Oh... and imagine a beowulf cluster of these things.
and understand why under an OS such as Win 98 or ME, even a single Pentium III 1 GHz will handily outperform a dual-Pentium III 500 MHz setup.
Wow... isn't that amazing? A 1 GHZ P3 will out perform dual 500mhz P3s in Win98/Me! WOW! One reason may be that Win98/ME doesn't support dual processors?
Holy balls batman!
Yeah... but do they have guys that fight each like Battle Chess for NES? Battle Chess could take any of these fools anyday.
And it reminds me that I have an assignment due in about 4 hours. Waaaaaaa......
Qwest/US West DSL users (me included) may relax. They are not affected :)
I always enjoyed using my magical sword. Zwangggg!
not sure... but I did find a great link entitled Bonobo Sex and Society.

Mach 5 ~ 3750mph.
5000mph ~ 6.66 mach

and then we're all out of jobs... yippee!!!
Me was under the impression that it was common knowledge.
Except for the DVD playback software that comes with Windows. (dvdplay)
Thanks though.
And any computer you purchase that has a cdr drive comes with CDR software preinstalled.
LOCKBOX!
Squawking ASCII values into a tin can... that's great stuff.

Wargames was far more realistic.

No the empire state building is not the tallest in any category. Sorry, but you're wrong. and the truth.. shall whatever

neither... I prefer to store my gasoline in a rusted out metal gas tank. It matches my rusted out car.

Add Stanford to the list of universities who have had wireless internet/network access. For 4 years, or more (I'm pretty sure at least 5).
