If there is another choice then it's not a monopoly! if you can use anything besides windows (not phyical ability, were talking choice here) then there is no monopoly! People choose windows and alot of them can barely figure that out. Windows was built for the basic computer user and it performs the functions that they need to have done. Its not a crappy OS. It is an OS for simpletons, and people who don't want the hassle. I am kinda expecting some flame; from people who are too ignorant to except this.

IMHO I don't think it is even worth making linux for a mac, (most) people who buy macs don't buy them because they want linux (or because the like the g3 better) but rather because they can't figure out how to use anything else (retards) or they need support for mac software, which under linux isn't supported (from what I understand I don't know if there are any projects like wine). He is a buisness man and he isn't looking to fuck around he is going to want to get down to business; like most everone else.

ARGGGG you fucking AMD guys don't get the point do you? the K-7 isn't competiting with the celeron; but instead with the PIII and other high end intel chips. The point he was making about a High speed celeron was that any moron can overclock it's the processor that makes the difference and that Intel makes better CPU's no questions about it. comparing a K-7 to a celeron is like comparing a BMW to a GEO you just don't do it.
I totally agree but the only problem is that I am kinda a hipocrit. I just started useing linux last year. Oh well it's more than I can say for the windows users.
