    Perhaps, the professor needs to adjust his/her teaching methods. Presenting the question using a projector doesn't sound too difficult.

    Being free, as in beer, is just one of the many qualities that Free (and open source) software provide. Besides, an increase in user base will almost always lead to an increase in developer base (not necessarily proportionately).

    I was really hoping that the media wasn't going to pick up on this too much. It pains me to see this performance.

    Please be vigilant in your local politics. This could happen to you too. The ultra-conservatives were put in the minority after the last escapade surrounding evolution. Attention diminished and they have once again hi-jacked the school board. Undoubtedly most will be removed from office again but that won't get reported.

    I currently work for the KGS as a student support assistant and for a long time we used Netscape 4.x but recently we've been moving to Netscape 7 and a few Mozilla installations. I'm campaigning for Mozilla but haven't gotten very far yet.

    I used to work for Sprint, a not-dot-com and they used the Aeron chair exclusively. They seemed to do all right.
