Okay.. I work with a lot of synthesizer/drum machine stuff, Fruityloops is my savior, etc. etc.
Electronic music is something that I can easily grasp because of the logic intertwines with the logic of music theory itself.
However..
Why wouldn't you take a step back when you realized what you're doing here? Integrating programming with music, in both of their current states, is grossly unacceptable. Sure, you can make some nasty basslines with your beeps and what have you, but COME ON.. pay homage to those in the 80s that ensured you would enjoy electronic music by pumping Lionel Richie full of drum machine goodness (and maybe plenty of other things) back when he was recording 'All Night' and shit like that.
Sorry if I offend, but I'm not sorry. Stop programming music, damnit!
We already receive windows messaging ads about getting diplomas, in case the typical network administrator dropped out before he/she acquired one. They really need to consider their audience with this particular annoyance.

You're talking about an entirely different topic.. if the Bush administration does something shady (such as they have been doing since 9/11), the major media outlets should be (and haven't been) monitoring these events, and giving the public a proper base for their decision to throw away constitutional rights. It's this kind of blank patriotism that's going to pull the country away from the people, and into the hands of a select few.
"If we were at war the government would be able to require technology companies to cooperate, I believe, in a number of ways, including getting back door access to information and computer systems."
The government and microsoft get back door action... I knew they'd f*ck me hard one of these days.
...innocent until proven guilty. sure, most might very well be guilty, but you can't generalize like that. prisoners deserve rights while they're going through the judicial process, because they're not yet guilty.
I've had many friends fall victim to this shitty scheme a few times, and most of them have their heads screwed on straight. Try downloading Snood these days, and you'll have no option to install it without too installing Gator, and a ValueShopperIncorporatedCorporation program. There should be some sort of ethics code involved with net ads (as well as a degree of standard for the way the ads look...nothing detracting than a poorly-designed ad.)
The firm's philosophy is simple. If it looks intelligent and it sounds intelligence, then it must be intelligent. - Hmm... somebody is definitely unintelligence from the looks of it.
Keep in mind that even with TV Out, I'm almost certain that these companies would love to use MS Media Player as a safe "transport" for their bad idea. Media Player (as far as 7 is concerned) does not like multiple monitors at all, as it will only display a black screen when I plug my Inspiron (w/ Mobility M1, S-Video out) into my A/V switch. Drats.
As far as law and content are both concerned, the music people (noted as RIAA) might as well just be the movie people (noted as MPAA). Also bothering me is the fact that the movie *companies* (Sony, Universal, etc.), are very well different divisions apart from the music people (Sony, Universal, etc.) This leads me to believe that these companies are too big to learn from themselves. Shame on them.

I hope that Jarvis' pro-emulator stance isn't dwindled by my defender mame machine.. *grobble*
oh yeah, that's the most pressing issue with broadband.. that people aren't interested in the ways they wish to exploit it. egads!
Uh...in fact, that sounds much better. And by much better, I'm talking about CNN's ratings when they show it live via satellite.

Microsoft began just as small and insignificantly as did Apple. Starting out as a two-man operation out of the backseat of Bill Gates's car...'
I knew it!
