I've been using it since version 4 something, and currently use 5.2
I've been awaiting the latest, greatest from them, and look forward to using it both at home and at work.
Will it really take on MS Office? Probably not, but really, I'm not sure that bothers me. I made my choice, it plays well enough with MS Office, and life goes on.
I'm not sure the article served any purpose other than to get people worked up over another software debate.
actually, my middle name is Jenny, but my parents refuse to call me that. my first name is actually Kathyrine, but no one calls me that (with the obvious exception of my parents).
I am getting quite sickened by all these seemingly frivilous patents. It is a sad state that they are being applied for, and even sadder that they are being granted.
Every time I read one of these stories, it makes me sick.
Enough "muscle", and almost any product can hit it big. I don't think the Indrema concept is out there - really out in the public. Who's really expecting it? That's their problem - not MS, not Sony, not Sega, not Nintendo.
I see another problem that is arising in all this economic turmoil. Too many companies think that the way to make it is to go public. What is wrong with a privately held, privately run group? No shareholders to appease, the freedom to do what you feel is really important, the ability to maintain control. Many private companies are often more tight-knit, smaller but very agile. Too many want to jump on the good-ole IPO bnadwagon.
Staying afloat often means staying smart, staying quick - and keeping in mind your end vision. Perhaps in Easel's case, the sacrifices couldn't outweigh the dangers, so they simply had to "adjust", for lack of a better term?
In case you are wondering, I am a practicing (because we all need practice, don't we?) liberal-minded Catholic who is very familiar with Judaism, Native American religions, and the use of the term "catholic" vs. Catholic.
for those of you flaming me... I think you forgot to read what I wrote, and forgot in what context it was written.

Just my thoughts, take them or leave them.

To hell with all of you! I don't need to read anymore of this nonsense!
Really, this is quite embarassing.
