I have heard that a even though the "The Big Bang" might not have created the universe there have been speculations that it could have sparked life in our planet and/or others. (Unlike other big bangs created when Taco Bell employees put too much beans on my bean burrito, which would have the opposite effect)
Yeah, that reminds me of the planet from "The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy" whose "core" created planets. They must have made these nuetron stars as defense against space pirates. Maybe not but its worth pondering.
True! What we view is only a portion of the actual object and our mind fills in the missing parts. But what if what we see is really what the objects are? What if we fill in "holes" of objects that really are there instead of the ones we invision?
A related article in Newsweek occured depicting a space craft that is being made entirely for tourist use. Prices for a week are expected to be some $30 million. This just shows that we are one step closer to the Jetsons!
I agree that this could be an ancestor of humans, but it would not be a new ancestor. In fact it would most definately be a fairly old ancestor. In fact it is so old that there are none left, only us humans. The only thing new about it is that scientists have recently discovered that it existed.
Assuming cats purr to heal their bones. Then why do they purr when you pet them? Is it some sort of reaction that corresponds with touch on the bone it self, or an emotional response?
Good morning this is your captain speaking. At this time we would now request that all hitchhikers on board the Mir please evacuate or suffer the consequences. Thank you and enjoy your flight!
Hydrogen powered cars would be a great idea for the future but in the mean time why not just hook up an engine that runs on the used oil of french fries? This mode of fuel is not only cheap it runs efficiently and is not harmful to the enviornment! Besides that the streets you drive by will smell not of car fumes but of french fries. This smell would drive the people near by crazy untill they could buy some, hence forth allowing fast food chains rule the world! Ha Ha Ha. Sorry, I guess I got a little carried away with the fast food chains ruling the world part.
I think Lego should definately get with the program and start creating a contest of that sort for its "Lego Mindstorm" robots.

So far, these "micro-refridgerators" will prove to be very helpful in protecting the chip from over heating, but if scientists come up with a more efficient way of cooling the chips and still keeping it compact the electricity would flow at a much faster rate. Hence allowing you to ultimately speed up your computer!
Great! At last I won't have to hunt for the salt shaker before I sit down to eat. But seriously, how do they plan to keep oil and other chemicals out of the farm? If anyone has a good idea please fill me in.
always using money as their main insentive. This isn't really news, mindless drones have been thinking of nothing more than money for years!
...here are some pics the hubble took.
I guess that would mean pharmacists would have to check for two different types of viruses now!
That reminds me of farsights in perfect dark.

Then again, if it has no side effect, that may be all we'll use cows for in the future. We can already no longer risk and cattle imports.
If any scientist out there wants to do research on some of my fat...feel free to have it!
Hopefully this means they won't have to use those annoying cotton swabs that they stick down your throat any more!
This just in from wall street, stocks on DNA sales are soring!
Here are some sights that have a few good pictures of the Aurora Borealis in them: Aurora Borealis - Northern Lights, pictures, Auroral Photography, & The Aurora Page

Sounds like doom and flightsim99 combined!

Rockets, yes I'd have to agree were invented by the chinese, the space age no.
Exactly, the classic chicken with its head cut off situation!
Either that or you won't have to pay for laser surgery to get your eyes fixed!
