I've got half a dozen Yahoo ID's I check via POP. To try to check them all via the WWW interface would take too long. I like to keep the IDs separate so I can keep track of what the email is about.
I see three options: 1. Find another free POP/forwarding provider (any hints?) 2. Find a way to do this with my ISP account without giving away my ISP username (any hints that don't involve changing ISPs?) 3. Pony up the dough to Yahoo.
The bit about 'application-less' interaction with the computer sounds like a further development of the Canon Cat, Raskin's post-Mac project from the mid-late 80's.
Another person who seems to belive that Rambo coding is the way to go. Productivity is not a measure of how many letters you type. Try reading <a href="http://www.fastcompany.com/online/06/writes<nobr>t<wbr></wbr></nobr> uff.html">this</a> for an example of how coding is done by grownups when lives are on the line instead of stock options.
Why are they even bothering to keep the Amiga name? Apparently they're using some Amiga patents for this new scheme, but I wouldn't think the Amiga name would help sell anything except computers.

Why is MSNBC publicizing the fact that a search engine is out of date? Is that particularly newsworthy?
The paranoid answer is that they want to discredit other search engines to drive more business to MSN search.
Another symptom of the conflicts you get when MS is reporting news about their competitors.

Do you have a link for this Toronto virtual FS? I tried digging around on the IBM site but couldn't find anything.
