It is not United Space Agency, but United Space Alliance (Acronym is correct :) )

USA is the Prime contractor in the Human Space Flight Program. We run the day to day operations of the Shuttle Fleet and International Space Station.

From Launch to touchdown to launch, USA runs, maintains, and upgrades all the orbiters for use in the HSF program. USA Houston designs, plans, and executes many of the missions that NASA wants to fly, and USA Florida maintains the orbiters. Most of the crew you see in the white jump suits prepping the Astronauts for launch are USA people. In fact, if you watched CNN during the last launch, we designed the program that showed the roll, pitch, yaw, attitude, velocity, and attitude (It was a Java applet if you were interested).

Before USA was formed (Parents of USA are Boeing and Lockheed Martin), There were numerous contracts, companies, and people working on getting the HSF to work. NASA decided to consolidate all the contracts and let one entity control them to save money. USA was born.

(I work for USA if you cannot tell)

Rabid's right, NASA is the world's space agency. I know that sorta sounds Nationalistic but ESA, NASDA (.jp), RSA (.ru), and others all look towards NASA for help and technology for projects. Cutting NASA back hurts the rest of the world in terms of space flight and exploration. When NASA does something, they see if anyone else is doing it. If another country is doing something, they see if NASA is doing it.

Politicians should love the idea of space science. They have their head up their ass so much it should be second nature to explore other dark places.

I would really want a Criterion Collectors edition with a movie disc and another disc full of extras.

Interesting tech note: The way the dual layer system works is that the "normal layer" is read normally by the system and once the disc reaches the outer edge of the track, it stops and reverses the spin direction and reads it from outside to inside.

What if I say Hey, I think this site is cool and you need to check it out. and they have ASCAP protected music. Why in the hell should I be forced to pay ASCAP because I linked to a site that just happened to have music? Hmm?

As for the framing issue, maybe, maybe not. A lot of times it is completely obvoius that it comes from another site. If it isn't obvious, then at least a note should be made that it is a 3rd party site. Personally, I launch new windows when linking. Keeps my site open and their site.

Uncertainty - "XXX is the wave of the future. YYY is the old way of doing things. Why would you use a system that will be obsolete in a few years?"

Who knows if it will be obsolete? I don't have a crystal ball. Neither do they.
