I always vote in Presidential elections, but I am tempted not to because I am too lazy to gather enough information to make a good decision. I know, I shouldn't be like that. Anyway, if the internet can provide the information needed to make a good decision then maybe those people who wouldn't otherwise vote will get out and do it. Maybe.
Here's what I do with my 486

This is a 100MHZ 486 with 64MB Ram. It is my web server, firewall, file server, print server, ftp, email.... etc. It runs Red Hat 5.2 (soon to be 6.0). Works great for me.:) BR
Does anyone know what kind of servers moviefone.com is running(what OS)?
I read somewhere that they increased their capacity by 10 times for the Star Wars ticket sales. I tried off and on for the last 24 hours to connect and have still been unseccessful.
If they are NT, could a Linux/Unix server take this load any better?
I have one of those mice with the little wheel on it. It is a logitech. Do they or will they make a Linux driver for that? Or is that something that, say KDE, has to work in to the window manager?
Am I the only one who thinks that the iMac is not "cute"? It is the worst looking computer I have seen since the 80's! I'm not saying all computers need to be cream colored towers but this thing is ugly. Besides that it just looks cheap, the keybord and the mouse look like children's toys to me. Ahh well, maybe DELL will do a better job.

Thank you, I was just curious.
