  1. Really? Which ones? AFAIK only the orthodox Slavic countries have used Cyrillic in 19th or 20th century (Belarus, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Serbia, Macedonia), and none of those have switched.

Not "switched" per say, but several of the countries you listed have both Cyrillic and Latin versions of their alphabets. Both of them are in common use.

Also, while you mention Serbia and Macedonia, you fail to mention the other ex-yugoslav states (Croatia, Bosnia, Slovania) all of which used Cyrillic prior to the breakup of the country, and which now (iirc) only reckognize the Latin version as their official alphabet.

Sorry, but Croatia and Slovenia did not use Cyrillic, but a version of the Latin alphabet.

  2. I agree... on "Trekkies" the Movie: The Other Force · · Score: 1

DS9 really had some good moments.
Actually even Voyager had, but they were
very rare... The first ST show I did not mind
    to miss half of it.

And, in my opinion ST is more "intelectual"
than SW. But that does NOT make the SW fans
stupid, or the SW movies stupid in general.
And, lately ST lost a lot of its quality.

You probably messed this up with the Euro-using

are part of the European Union.
