Audible is probably the only reason I can stick with an exercise routine. I can tune out for a while daily and listen to a book. Also a lifesaver on long drives. Not sure I love to pay the bill, but I definitely use the service to the fullest.
How did they manage to write a security component, that of itself opens up the Operating System to exploition? I mean, and after all, this isn't the defective Apple OS or open source...
"The affected component is available remotely to users who have standard user accounts with domain credentials"

Sounds like a "fun" new target for malware.
Let's hope not. Have you seen the the people of Walmart website? I shudder to think.. oops... too late... must unsee with the mind's eye... arrrgggghhh!!!!
I might actually like it if they handle it like they do Audible. Pay a flat monthly rate for credits to buy a single book of your choice per credit (The maximum subscription is currently 2 credits/month), the ability to bank credits you don't use, and discounts on books that you want to buy when you are out of credits. You keep the books you purchase in your digital library indefinitely.
