Laws only send "normal" people to jail if the law is bad. By your logic, we need to get rid of those pesky "murder" laws so less hard working Americans have to be put to death.
Every geek laughs at the 'jocks' for being stupid. The problem is that jocks tend to be bigger than geeks, so if the jock ever gets tired of tossing insults back and forth he can up the ante to physical abuse. Also, geeks have more to lose than jocks if they get into serious trouble at school. McDonald's doesn't care if you got expelled from a school...MIT does.
My point is simply this: jocks have every advantage over nerds in high school, that only makes their 'abuse' all the more frustrating. Your "friend" can say whatever she wants because no one is going to do anything to a girl, but that's the point. If all that went on in high school was name calling, there would be no problem; it has to be accepted that it is simply a part of growing up. But physical abuse like having food thrown at you, getting punched, pushed, or tripped is something that should not be tolerated.
I've tried both Logitech and Microsoft mice (albeit it's been a long time sinse I've owned a Logitech, 4 yrs or so). I've owned a Microsoft mouse for about a year now and I must say that I've never used a mouse that has been smoother, or more comfortable than this one. Not to mention the fact that in the year that I've owned it, I've only had to clean it twice. The Logitech mouse I owned had to be cleaned like twice a month. I got so fed up with that mouse getting stuck I threw it out and bought a new one. Maybe Logitech has gotten better. Maybe the mouse I had was just a bad one. Maybe the mouse pad I'm using now is better than the one I used back then...I don't know. All I know is that the MS mouse I'm using now is perfect, and I only paid eight bucks for it!

We need to see SW on DVD, but if George Lucas only releases the crappy special edition on DVD and not the original, I'm going to raise hell!
