    Yup, because liberals are always the ones hurting people for no reason: Man arrested, charged with punching protester at Trump event. Or threatening to kill them: after punching Rakeem Jones (while he was being escorted out by sheriff deputies) John McGraw, 78 was quoted on video saying:

    I'll see your one man at a Trump rally, and I'll raise you the entire "Occupy" movement.

    Old, white, ignorant, racist, conservative hillbillies -- you know, Trump supporters -- are hilarious.

    You and your family deserve to be machinegunned in the street outside your home.

    Women should not be allowed to divorce their husbands and ruin the lives of their children on a whim, which is what all women are now empowered to do.

    Good women under the authority of their fathers and husbands should be treated well, but certainly not treated as you would treat a man.

    The only women who should be treated as if they are equal to men are sluts and whores.

    The problem with comparing the US to other advanced countries is that with the social services and money that is spent on them in those countries, even when you are born into a poor family in Sweden lets say, you are immediately and profoundly more wealthy than your American counterpart.

    The American "poor" are materially better off than middle-class Swedes in almost every respect. Even those on welfare in America are able to set up their own households.

    I grew up in Oregon and as such I was denied all school after the 6th grade, and I had no health insurance and therefore could not see a dentist, psychologist, PCP, or any other type of doctor growing up. Until the year 2011 when Affordable Health Care Act kicked in, there were hundreds of thousands of uninsured children in Oregon .. meaning when they had a health problem, they were denied medical care most of the time.

    You're lying. K12 education is mandatory everywhere in America, and so is medical coverage for anyone under the age of 18, both at great taxpayer expense.

    Everything NASA and the military use in their computer systems are generations behind the current commercial state of the art. They certainly aren't driving innovation in that field.

    The Internet? It would still be a small number of 56K links between universities if it wasn't for private industry.

    Clearly, those who are demonizing Matt Ridley should be limited to dial-up speeds on their network connections, required to use something like ENIAC, and taxed at a rate of 92 percent on everything they have.

    Western civilization was built and maintained because men had incentives to invest in posterity, having had children, and knowing those children were theirs. Hence, they had to control the sexuality of women.

    Being against so-called "spousal rape" was but one in a long line of attacks on Christian marriage (being that consent is given once and forever), and therefore, Western Civilization as a whole. If you support action against "spousal rape", then you support divorce on a woman's whim, and if you support divorce on a woman's whim, then you support her ruining the lives of her husband and children on nothing more than her whim.

    And you don't need to "beat the shit out of your wife" for it to be considered "spousal rape". Go look at what happened to Henry Rayhons.

    In America, the natives generally weren't cut out for this thing called 'civilization'.

    Too damn bad.

    Besides, we tried to make deals with them. The deals went something like this:

    1.) Settlers would buy land from the Indians.
    2.) The Indians would turn around and buy whiskey.
    3.) The Indians would get drunk and stay drunk.
    4.) When the Indians woke up with bad hangovers, no money, no whiskey, no food and no hunting grounds, they would kidnap some women and children and torture them to death.
    5.) In response to the preceding events, whites then (justifiably) engaged in ethnic cleansing using various measures including putting bounties on the heads of Indians.

    The space program did not help advance solid-state electronics. The Apollo Guidance Computer, for example, used resistor-transistor logic technology that was commercially obsolete by the time it was introduced.
