    selection bias. if you limit your pool to MJ users to are in ivy league schools, of course the MJ users are a smart bunch. but if you expand your pool to all MJ users, my statement above still stands.

    While MJ may not lower IQ, from the people I have met there is a strong correlation between MJ and low IQ.

    we're off the gold system, where metal coins were a store of value, linked to the market price of the metal in the coin. They're just representations of value, like glass beads or deer vertebras. it doesn't really matter how expensive they are, that doesn't affect their value. I'm not going to shed tears, considering all the ways that the US gov currently wastes money. Did you know that Donald J Trump has a full secret service retinue, bought and paid for by the taxpayers?

    you have to realize that apple can't win in this scenario. if they had made the 4s ineligble for the update, then people would be screaming about forced obsolencence and upgrades. but if they include it, then people complain that it doesn't run as well as on new phones.

  14. I find it hard to believe that iOS would be listed with 375 vulnerabilities, but android would be listed with 130 vulnerabilities. Everybody knows that android is insecure as shizz. Something is fishy here.

  15. The difference is that a Wii U purchased in 2015 is the exact same specifications as a Wii U from 2012. While an iPhone purchase today as in OM faster than an iPhone from 2012. Compare the two laptop/desktop, where the speed improvements have been much more incremental over that time period.

    So it makes sense that Apple would design today's software to take advantage of today's hardware speeds.

I partially agree with you here⦠I agree the problem is that Apple doesn't allow people to roll back, so by the time they discovered that performance of slow under iOS 9 they are not able to go back to iOS 8. However Idon't think that liquidated damages (cash money) are appropriate here. If Apple just updated their software to enable wrote back, I think everyone would be square.

    You really think that Apple is going to change their product line for you or some country? Most likely they'll just include one of these in the box, resulting in even more waste. Apple is more powerful than any country and will do what it wants. Worst case the Swiss will have to buy crappy androids!

    I a vibrant market, consumers can choose whichever phone suits their preferences, including charger designation. No need for govt interference.

    If it truly is a dumb thing, then companies will adjust and/or exit the market. No need for govt interference.

    It's worthwhile to note that Apple has sold nearly a billion units, so their 'propeietary' chargers are a de facto standard. Apple chargers are sold by dozens ov vendors at prices as low as a couple bucks.
