Depends on which communication we are talking here. Their cell phones did not use any encryption and most of their communications were done person to person. In neither case encryption was used. The conclusion of the security agencies is flawed anyway. Communication encryption is given as a reason for terrorism. I think pissing off plenty of people across the globe and propping up dictators like Assad are the core reasons why terrorism can flourish, plus the massive financial aid of individuals from befriended states such as Egypt and Saudi-Arabia. We would not have this discussion if the various security organizations would have not massively and repeatedly abused their powers clearly ignoring the Constitution and many other laws. If these three letter agencies around the globe would be responsible actors in the sole interest of defeating terrorism we would look at this differently. Instead they excel at industrial espionage and making sure that they spew enough FUD so that gullible politicians keep funding them.

Back then both ends of the spectrum were more moderate, being a Senator was considered an honor rather than a means to get money and power, and nominees were selected based purely on merit. Reagan started putting candidates up that were ultraconservative in an attempt to push his political views into the judicial process. Some in the Senate objected to that quite strongly. Nice try to blame the Democrats for what Reagan screwed up.

While you may state facts here, the main reason for high crime and low academic achievement is that those areas are also no future areas. There are only a few who care about the urban youth these days. If nothing that you do as a young person will matter in the end then where is the incentive to do anything decent with your life? If the biggest struggle is to get food on the table and have a place to live then school grades are secondary. The reason is not because these people are black, it is because they have zero chance of gaining anything no matter how hard they work for it. There are just too many who see them as gang members, criminals, or notorious underachievers.

They need to go back to building something that people actually want to use. Maybe a bit harsh, but they should throw away everything they did after FF 4.0 came out and start over after firing the egocentric dev leads. What bugs me most is that they solely feed the egos of their developers and at the same time whine because people stop giving them funding.
