I love the Wirecutter and the Sweethome. I tend to spend an unnecessary amount of time researching certain products, so having these "The Best" sites really cuts down on my research time. Even if I don't go with their pick, the articles themselves are very informative for the subject at hand, telling you what to look for, what features are important/not important, etc., which helps in ensuring my money is spent more wisely. The wife and I have quite a few of their picks around the house and we're pretty happy with the results.
In Japan anywhere that serves alcohol must ask if there is designated driver and not serve them anything alcoholic. They usually ask that person to wear a pendant or something so it's really clear to all the staff. Serving the designated driver is an automatic loss of licence.
This must not apply to tourists. My friends and I weren't asked once to do this, despite drinking at numerous places. We were in Tokyo.

I see them all the time around town. Not only do they smell better than their diesel brethren, they are MUCH quieter. Almost silent.
By that account the Catholic Church is still the biggest religion.
The "Catholic Church" (Catholicism) is a form of Christianity, though. Like Methodism, Baptist, etc. It shouldn't be categorized separately.
