I gave the new udev as well as systemd (and their initrd requirement) the middle finger, and uninstalled udev and installed eudev in its place. Business as usual.
Does the thing still weigh 200 fucking pounds? That's always been my beef with Alienware computers. You need a fucking forklift just to move them around.
Trying to find a file in the middle of a tape takes forever. If you're doing a restore from beginning to end, it's okay, but trying to find that one file buried somewhere in a tape is a pain.
Could it be accumulating in garbage dumps, and getting released when the surface ground is disturbed... perhaps when they pave over it and turn it into a city?
I had linux on my desktop for several years at one point. I wasn't a huge gnome fan, but kde 3.x was a pretty decent experience. Then gnome and kde nastified their GUIs and I was left without a decent GUI. Xfce was close, but it's not mature enough in my opinion. So windows 7 it is. I still use linux on servers.
Google has implemented content id on twitch. The damage is already being done. I suspect twitch will become irrelevant as gamers find a new place to stream/upload their videos.

Sorry, but I've tried both Cinelerra and Kdenlive. They don't hold a candle to Adobe Premiere.

How about no.
I'll never give up my love for that 8-bit goodness. That evil bitch-goddess.
Buck feta.

I can think of two reasons. Speed, and random seeks. Tape sucks and should die a quick death.
Can we sue oracle for a shitty Java? If only...
but isn't a camrip the same thing as a screener?
Your signature seems relevant...
I still don't give a rats ass about this guy. He got lucky ~10 years ago with the xbox and he's been riding the coat-tails of his success ever since.

No, but I'm willing to put my third leg straight into their ear. Or maybe their eye, I haven't decided.
Does America actually care about what's illegal? Let's see if I can refresh your memory...
AMERICA.... FUCK YEAH!
You're doing it wrong.
Signed,
Some loser.
"claiming that the rule allows it to keep airing their games on free TV"
Last time I checked, the TV stations have to pay a hefty fee in order to have the privilege of broadcast sporting events.
This whole thing smacks of "I need more money".
Cry some more.
It's competitive gaming, and nothing more. Gaming is not a sport.
'nuff said.
Buck feta.
