    These are not IP networks they are Ethernet networks which means they are susceptible to ARP Spoofing attacks and other Ethernet tricks

    Yep they are trying to ascribe 2 different things to inaccurate network time. Real-Time systems do not need to know the Date/Time in most cases, they need an accurate timer/heartbeat. Inaccurate time(clock) can cause authentication failures in some cases.

    Someone with Ham Radio and a directional antenna could probably cause the crash. I have seen a car alarm go off , unlock the doors and pop open it's trunk using just legal Ham Radio Equipment.

    Actually this is a way to hurt the smaller ISP's and kill competition. This will provide the big boys with more money and choke the smaller ISP's. In my area there is no one currently that can even come close to providing 10mbs.

    They fixed a symptom, the issue is that if the key is shutoff and the car is still moving the airbags should not become disabled !!!
