I already do this using shareaza, a video card that supports tv out(radeon 9500 pro), and windows extended desktop feature. I live in Alaska where cable and internet are rather expensive. I only have a few shows I watch on tv so it didn't make since to me to pay for $60-70 a month for cable just for a couple of shows. I would pay for a service like this if it was actually offered but until then i will use bittorrent/shareaza.
Ummm. Why not just use MPlayer it support asf wmv wma and just about every video and audio file I can think of except realplayer. It can accept URLs if I am not mistaken so what is the big fuss about this? who really wants to run emulated when you can go native? Sure mplayer can't be embedded into mozilla but not many sites have embedded video or at least without giving you option to open in a new window! Anyways just my thoughts.

On Process Tree it was of no surprise that it failed to me for this very reason. A company would not want to risk their important data with average Joe/Joe Q Hacker on the net for him to poke and pry at it. Until they can come up with a uncrackable(yeah right) encryption scheme this will never become mainstream or even backstream. =) . Only way I would ever see it succeeding is if computer manufactures start putting a distributed processing program deep inside their computers hidden from user => .
What happened to x-ray vision? If people are going to look through walls in games if worse comes to worst they can always order those cool glasses out of the back of their favorite comic book! Then poof - m3 b 0wnZ y0u w1t aWp thru w@LLz 'n c0uNt3r-$tr1k3 G!
