    you know there's a world around Linux, in this world there's BeOS, the RealPlayer (audio/video) is available for BeOS in a close beta, but according to feedback i had, it works great! so maybe the MS codec will be included in the BeOS RealPlayer too!

    the TGV is a french "normal" train and its max speed is 515 km/h iirc, so "normal" train still have a long life! maglev or others exist for decades but are too expensive...

    I work 35hours/week, from 9am to noon, and from 1pm to 5pm as a network and unix engineer, pretty cool :)

    a lot of OSS are written by geeks and for geeks, as a geek i don't care, but if i tell a coworker "try this it's wonderful" and he discovered it's a command line tool with a lot of options, he'll not use it. I know people called them "computer geek" but the only thing they know is click on a button, like the script kiddies who don't know what a shell prompt is...
    i'm going back hacking sendmail.cf with vi :o)

    i live in québec so i know this site, they stated at the bottom of the page that this was an experience to see how much time yahoo will respond to this, the site went online Nov 3rd, and they received the email from yahoo's lawyers Jan 12th, so it took 70 days before yahoo make something.

    the Cubit is a wireless PC, in fact the PC is included in the LCD flat screen and you have keyboard and mouse wireless, also modem and LAN. It runs Linux, and costs less than 400$ as well.
