    Turn off "Socket Filtering" in your configuration.
    Or CONFIG_FILTER in your .config file.

    This will #ifdef out the socket filtering code,
    which is the culprit. I'm gonna see if my feeble
    C/kernel skills can do anything about it
    tommorrow. But I am sure it'll be fixed before
    I wake up.
