I would love for American English to be simplified further. The spelling reforms of American English are great and more spelling reforms could be made, and our grammar could use reforms too. I think we could get by without different verb conjugations for plural and singular nouns. We should also do away with vestigial gendered nouns like actor and actress or waiter and waitress. We only need one of each noun.
Can you guys think of other simplifications that could be implemented? I am an Anglophone so I am probably not the best person to ask about how to simplify English further.
