I fly hang gliders, and with a wingspan that small the person would have to land running at at least 60 mph not to mention a long open field unless they have some sort of vertical landing capability which consumes LOADS of fuel. Then there is the claim of 140 mile range with 1/2 gallon tank/s which is rediculous. I'd personally love a flying device that lets me get between 35 and 70 miles to the gallon while traveling at 140 miles per hour and suitable for small area stealth landings, but unless they've somehow changed the rules of aviation, that wing is useless. Also what would someone do with the wing after they dropped? Hang gliders weigh 40-50lbs at the lightest and are made primarly of cloth. I can't imagine what a ridgid wing with jets would weigh, but I'll bet that the soldiers aren't going to carry them very far after landing. Uterly useless.
This is not an article or a serious question worth posting on slashdot. Obviously the poster is a big whiner and can't figure out that he controls the circumstances of his employment. I doubt they'll fire him for knocking off early a few days a month to do interviews. The problem isn't so much the stupidity of the question but the fact that someone found it to be a worthy story to post. Digg would have moderated the crap out of this in 10 seconds, but I'll bet it will hang around on slashdot forever if not at least 10 hours.
Skype is amazing, I use it to play online games with my friends, and nothing else has even come close in terms of latency, clarity, and lack of audio break up.

I love it.
