from the journal article, http://xxx.lanl.gov/abs/astro-ph/0606279 a glance at the intro reveals that they have analyzed *one* eclipsing binary star system in M33 and derived a distance that was greater than that obtained by Hubble. Until this measurement is repeated on other stars in M33, preferably by different groups, this remains a suggestive but in no way definitive measurement.
