Dave Davis has resigned his MP to force a by-election. He feels so strongly against this that he's putting his own career on the line to let the public have a chance to show how they feel about this! A politician with integrity! How refreshing!
I'm pretty excited about this. I've used Gentoo for nearly 5 years now. It's served my purposes well, but 5 years is a long time, and if these guys are not dealing with legacy stuff, then I hope they can improve. Great luck to them!
I got my model M in 1987, 2yrs old. We've been ever so happy together. We've gone through lots of different computers, but we've stayed constant.
But yesterday, the b,n, and space keys stopped working. I'd just upgraded my motherboard, so I initially thought I'd blown something. But when I tipped the keyboard, some red wine dripped out of it!
Imagine! I have this keyboard for 16 yrs, and I go and break it with a careless glass of wine! I'm distraught! Ferg
As a third year PhD student in Neuroscience, who's usually a bit too busy (..or perhaps read lazy!) to visit the library (physical one), I'm a little worried that the Uni library (University of Leeds) will stop subscribing to the electronic access of various Life sciences. Basically because they're far too expensive.
I do see this as a backward step, but can also quite easily see that in a commercial world. the publishers really do have to make money.
Oh why can't the Amazing world of science be like Debian:-)
You can find the most current FAQ/WIKI on Linux kernel RAID (MD) here:

This is updated by people from the Linux Raid mailing list (on which the relevant people hangout).

Yeah right, a Great Dane and Pekinese love match!!!!
Hi,
Lots of apps work with the M515!
pilot-link, and jpilot and kpilot which work with these sync fine!
Coldsync works fine as well, although can only be used to backup your palm.
If you want to recompile some stuff then Evolution plus Gnome-pilot is awesome! Far more functionality then the Palm desktop!
Cheers
