  1. There's updates? on Google Steps Up Pressure on Partners Tardy in Updating Android (bloomberg.com) · · Score: 2

Hell my Samsung Rugby is still sitting at 4.4.2. Samsung has 0 interest in updating anything. It's like tech companies forgot that still have to maintain previous models and not just shake/jingle the shiny new keys at customers

  2. Actually Netflix will shit the bed in Canada. The local cable companies offer free Netflix type streaming. If you are a Shaw subscriber, they give you a free login to Shomi. Which is like Netflix but more content.

  3. They blocked my VPN from Canada. Been over a week now. I set my account to cancel. Back to ye ol torrents.

  4. Assumption on Will Self-Driving Cars Clog Our Highways? (go.com) · · Score: 1

This is assuming that people will be able to afford the gas or electricity. The way people gripe now about the cost, can't see them using it more.

Haha yea. I remember my brand new 486 100. Had 8mb of RAM. Went to play Doom, nope not enough Ram. Should of been a warning sign. Had to upgrade to 16mb of ram. 96 bux later.

  6. Re: What a coincidence... on Microsoft Auto-Scheduling Windows 10 Updates (tomshardware.com) · · Score: 1

Same day I no longer dual boot. Debian 100% + virtualbox with 7 as needed. I actually attempted the "upgrade" under virtualbox from 7 to 10, it failed. Good thing I wasn't a Window's 7 user

Runs only on Windows? Big deal. OpenOffice is just as good as MS. Majority of games now work on Linux (newer). I have an Asus laptop and fully run Debian. I keep Virtual box handy with other OS's but Windows isn't really needed.

  10. Re: Syndex blackouts on 76% Of Netflix Subscribers Think Netflix Can Replace Traditional TV (cordcutting.com) · · Score: 1

They do with a regional tag. For NHL for example I run a VPN and never miss a game.

  11. Re: My answer will sound familiar but, on 76% Of Netflix Subscribers Think Netflix Can Replace Traditional TV (cordcutting.com) · · Score: 1

There are sports option. Hockey has NHLTV, NFL you can get the stream package too but are a ludicrous price.

  12. When I purchase from the U.S I see an additional "import charge" of varying price. So I just purchase from other countries instead that don't have the fee

  13. I'm Canadian, my VPN has not prevented me from viewing Netflix US. I had to change my DNS once, that's about it. Never noticed any enforcement at all. The day I'm locked into Canada is the day I exercise the option of canceling and using other free services like Shomi (comes with my Shaw account free).

  14. You can find companies that do that on EBay for far less. I think the last custom case was $12 US

  15. There's Ads? on Google Cleans Up Search Results By Ditching Sidebar Ads (theverge.com) · · Score: 1

Guess I've used adblockers for so long, I've never noticed any.

Alot of racial talk here. But we're missing the 1 probable suspect. Some drunk moron from the local college university. Always something idiot student in my city caught doing vandalism usually when walking home from bar/party.
