The "abusers" are limited by the speed they pay for. If I pay for 20Mb/s down, then I'm ALSO paying for a 216 GB per day data cap, because that's my maxed out bandwidth for 24 hours. Failing to provide what I pay for is fraud. Adding additional data caps to the fine print is nothing but a way to double dip customers wallets.
Don't worry, man, this has just been a bad year for losing people. Pratchett was probably the worst, but we lost Roddy Piper too, as well as Robert Z'Dar, Gunnar Hansen, Nimoy, B.B. King, Wes Craven and quite a few others.
(And yes, I do have a thing for B movies)
That's insufficiently correct. They also remove DRM (which could be especially clunky in the DOS days!) and patch bugs. While they absolutely DO use Dosbox for their DOS games, that's not ALL they do.
Also, many of their games are post-DOS era. This means a whole other set of bugfixes and compatibility issues they handle.
It'd make a decent T-shirt too. I don't wanna advertise anyone, but a quick search shows there are places that'll make custom stickers for you pretty easily. Print up a few thousand and give 'em out.
GameJournoPros was made up? The harassment against women wasn't? The narrative of gamers being seeecret evil women haters wasn't shat across the internet in a coordinated swarm of propaganda? We clearly do live on separate worlds. Get off my parallel universe lawn!
They don't have to make it impossible, just illegal. And guess what, TPP and its ilk are trying to spread anti DRM circumvention laws to other countries.
He won't be able to affect shit without media attention to his campaign. Guess what the media won't be giving him. Maybe if he had 500 million in funding, enough to run ad campaigns in influential districts, he could make a difference, but for now the only people that will hear his message are those of us that already agree with it.

That is patently false. http://www.upi.com/Top_News/US...

Funny, the only bomb threats I recall were made against the Florida SPJ panel, which was GG friendlyish.

Eh, a lot of us really dislike the direction Civ 5 took vs the previous ones. Gimme Civ 4 with Fall from Heaven 2 and I'll be a lot more enthused.
