I appreciate all of the training and planning that the courageous pilots go through for my safety and well being but I'd prefer that all landings that I am involved in use engines and runways. As a matter of fact I insist.
I read the press release and the logs from the IRC session on HNN. Their intenetions seemed pretty clear to me. Regardless of how stupid an idea it is in the first place they ought to have the balls to stand up for what they said.
