The TLAs always toot their horns about how effective their surveillance programs have been at stopping many attacks just like these. So yes, I expect results, since these programs are so "effective." Otherwise what the fuck are we paying their salaries for? We knew Osama was coming for us at least a decade before it happened. The conservatives blocked slick willie's attempts to hunt him down in 1998. Then we had knowledge that an attack was about to be carried out 2 months before it happened. Then the attack was carried out and it wasn't stopped. And then our glorious and omniscient leader sat with eyes glazed over, drooling from the corner of his mouth for 8 minutes when he was informed that the attack was carried out.

I have not seen any glaringly obvious bugs. But maybe I'm just not looking close enough, or I'm just too busy enjoying the game to focus on nit picking out collision errors and texture pop-in. I guess a "bug" I noticed could be the time Codsworth was hovering over some garbage in a ruined building and he clipped through the ceiling while I was talking to him? The only issue I have had were horrible frame rate drops until I updated the nvidia drivers.

And to be on topic: I think that review embargoes are unethical, I think reviewers being provided golden samples of hardware and early access to software is unethical. I think it would also be unethical for a reviewer to not mention any game breaking bugs. Minor glitches and things like that are expected, especially in such a massive game. Take GTA:V for example. Massive open world (62GB) its still completely riddled with bugs, and to no surprise it holds a 7.8 on metacritic, and many of the negative user reviews center around the fact that the game is available across 3 platforms.... This isn't nearly as bad as the AC:Unity fiasco where the entire reviewing community knew about horrible bugs but was unable to mention them until after people bought the game and found out for themselves, or the Arkham Knight shit storm that "will never be fixed" according to the developers.

I'll admit it...I wasn't impressed with the E3 previews last year, it looked like skyrim with guns, where Fallout 3 looked like oblivion with guns. So far this game is buttery smooth, the story so far has me interested enough to keep playing. And the MOLE RATS ACTUALLY TUNNEL INTO THE GROUND HOLY FUCK. Extra challenge introduced by allowing time to progress while in VATS mode. ADS and shooting mechanics are fucking amazing. If this game is this good on release day, I can't wait to see what they add to it down the road.

You're welcome? It's not like we (citizens) have any say in what our government does. That's the greatest illusion in history. Federal elections are decided by who has the most money from "Special interests". Local and state government elections are all about who you know (read: money changing hands) And we all hoot and rave about how democracy is great and we're free. We are free to do as THEY say. We have the right to get our property taken by them, we have the right to expect no real privacy, we have the right to expect freedom of speech unless it involves unpopular opinion. When someone uses the old "if you don't like the laws you should vote someone else in" all I can do is shake my head and sigh. If we're going to have any impact on our governance in the future, there needs to be a purge of all the currently held seats in the judiciary, executive, and legislative branches on state and federal levels. Our entire system has been infiltrated and poisoned by greed.

I would say that you're wrong about the majority of people giving a shit about their privacy. If that were true, the smartphone boom would have been a bubble that burst. Instead we just see more and more privacy invasions wrapped up in a fancy new "smart" device, and millions and millions of people line up to get one. That isn't what I would call "outrage". Sure, the more savvy folks understand the underworkings of all this and are thus annoyed. People are too comfortable right now to really care about it. The powers that be have already won this war, and the minority (technically-abled folks) sound like crazy tin foil nutters when we talk to the typical citizen about all the ways uncle sam knows everything about you. TL;DR the average joe just doesnt give a fuck.
