Am I the only person that thinks star wars is nothing but an overrated merch machine? I was exposed to star wars for most of my childhood, and sure I liked it when I was 7-8 years old. But as I matured, so did my taste in fiction I suppose. The last movie I saw with my father was Episode 1 and I have regretted it ever since. I haven't even seen the other 2 prequels, and I don't plan to. I also don't plan to see this new one, if only to show my distaste for having everything that I remember beign chopped/screwed/repackaged and force-fed through every available media and merchandising outlet. If there is one thing that I loathe, it is being marketed to. Yuck. Most people seem to eat that shit up with a spoon though.
Anyone stupid enough to trade STEAM ITEMS through any service that isn't STEAM gets no sympathy. Are people getting dumber or am I getting less tolerant?
Is torrent hosting illegal? How about magnet links? Could they have avoided being against the law by using ad revenue? I guess ad revenue is much less than illegal malware revenue. Ah well, torrents are for cows anyway.
"blogspam indirection" (whatever the fuck that is, I assume you mean content aggregation) usually happens when a story is popular enough to generate clicks. This is nethack, it isn't a story about donald trumps pubic hair.
Had a few machines come in from various state orgs and universities 2 years ago when crypto starting making the rounds again. Their backups were too old, had to pay the fuckers. They did get all their stuff back. But still, they paid some assknob in east fuckistan 1200USD a pop. That was when I figured out that I was playing on the wrong team.
agreed. The problem here is that 99 percent of windows users don't know how to read a message on a screen without clicking YES and DOWNLOAD NOW and YOUR PC HAS A VIRUS GIVE ME $400
If you've ever had the privilege of talking to one of these ESL scammer techs, you can hear them working in a loud call center. This leads me to believe that there is either a huge office building where people go to work as criminals, or they are actually support technicians working outsourced jobs for Big Software, and are doing the scamming on the side for extra coin. I could just be overthinking this and they're just some guy sitting in a smoky room playing a "call center sounds, compilation 3" cassette through a loudspeaker.
Since yahoo bought the entire backlog of SNL footage and has held it hostage for the past few years, if they DO go under....who will be the next company to grab it all up and hold it hostage?
So...you'll just make a moderately snide comment instead. Basic.

Have some zillions.
Throw more money at it.

But it's aliens. They're building this new facility over a giant under ground vault system filled with amazing alien technology.
I have noticed that several new laptops with expired norton trials would effectively permanently enable airplane mode until a full/clean uninstall.
but the timing was related
If the government actually possessed that kind of efficiency we would have solved all the world's problems by now.
That's cute. But why would they solve the problems that wouldn't make them any money?
My job will finally kill me! Great news! Now if we could only accelerate this process...

What, bombing hospitals, homes, and property isn't going to win the hearts and minds? Why can't they understand that we're liberating them?
Yes, but trump is a racist.
There was no journalism involved in this article.

you have derped beyond a level of my understanding of derpish.
The operative phrase here is "bank executive". You literally don't have to know ANYTHING to be an executive. That is what your staff is for.
This reverse trolling that you've been attempting is really starting to fail harder than usual. Maybe get some new material?
Passive-aggressive racists are my favorite.

And yet everyone still calls them phones, and they seem to still include telephony function.
I don't call my microwave a refrigerator. Why would you call a computer a phone?

I love that show so much.
