- please. This is a social issue. Men aren't inherently more interested in CS & free software. That interest is cultivated by social norms, exposure, and opportunity.
- This is really, really sad because people in free software are meant to be fighting for equality and open knowledge because its moral and pragmatic (more people = more innovation). This is a *classic example* of people who fight for equality when it's convenient for them to face. I guess it's easy to get behind an issue you don't think you're perpetuating. Honestly, get all on board, or get off and re-evaluate.
