Servo makes me think of either motors or the robot's from the Sims universe. I don't understand the use of that graphic either. I'm sure it is just a placeholder for now.
At least one of those modems (I checked the DPC2203) appears to date back to at least 2010. The sale of Linksys appears to have been completed in 2013.
I didn't seem to have any trouble in VirtualBox 5.0.10 running on Windows 8.1 (x64) to get this working. The only trouble I had was the Live CD didn't power off when I finished the install so I had to do that manually.

I mean an ad for an open source project on /. wouldn't be too offensive, which is what is is.
I also work on computers for a living and I can tell you the bug is very much alive. I saw it as recently as 2 weeks ago.
Asrock's products are crap at the lower end, but at least from what I've _heard_ their high end stuff is the same as everything else.
At least from my own experience it is still in the optional section. Have not looked at any computers today to see if it has moved over yet.
