Lot of people are propably going to lose their faith in ordering goods online now. If Verizon, a very big company, couldn't manage to keep the information secure, imagine what can happen with smaller stores.

I would very much like to try that. If anybody knows any links of a sample sound maybe?
when i play it on my computer i'll have my back turn on the speakers, and if i turn around and look at the speakers, without knowing/wanting then it works. otherwise it's just another troll story.
The way i understood that is, when the phone rings and you don't know where it's at, it draws your attention. If you are on the car then you already know where it's at and therefore you don't need to take your eyes off the road.
But maybe i'm wrong!
Well, i think this is our problem. How do we expect the regular users to use linux if they don't know where to look for help in linux? think that they don't know what man pages are. They haven't heard of the linux howtos before. Not to mention that them howtos you have to be a senior cs student to be able to read and understand. Don't take me wrong, there is a ton of documentation out there, but what i'm trying to say, is that the very new people, have no idea how to get to it, and even if they get to it they will have a hard time understanding it. Let's face it, man pages and howtos are written from programmers for programmers.
just a thought
Well, I'm going to have to disagree with you partially. I am a charter customer also, i've been getting thei cable services the last 4 months now. I only had problems the first month where i kept disconnecting and didn't know why. I called them up and a technician came over. He followed my line and apparently he fixed the problem. Since then i never had any kind of trouble. I'm signed up for 1.5mbps and really the lowest i ever go down is if the server is not sending enough. Other than that 90% of the time i'm over 100 kb/s with ftp averanging 150 kb/s. the max i ever got from ftp it was 170 kb/s to 175kb/s.
I bet the applications you develop are stable as a rock. Remember that M$ is developing ie for some time now. give mozilla some time and you will see.
When you laugh at other's work be sure you can actually be better than them, cause if you're not the only one who is getting embarassed is you.
Anybody knows why would mozilla crash when i changed a theme? This seem to happen with a few themes. I change the theme restart mozilla but never starts. Instead a talkback dialog appears. I sent feedback but i haven't been able to find out why it crash
Of course they are feared of linux. Linux has something ms don't. The back end. And the way things are moving now, refering to kde and gnome,
they are getting scared even more.
What can i say... Linux is the way!!!!

3) People are convinced their old P-133 running Win95 retail on 16Mb RAM is enough for surfing
It is if you run linux and surfing with links or lynx. Actually i'm doing it on a p100 with 16mb.
This a very good article. I enjoyed reading it. It seems that the author put a lot of work researching. Congrats!!!

Isn't that similar to the one use credit card where your credit card company can provide you with a one use credit card to use for online shopping?
