We should be surprised by this? They're already using Apple products so they're used to having crap when it comes to products or service.

maybe this has been asked already but i'm too lazy to go look through all the comments. would it not be cheaper for the bells to move the phone system to an all wireless solution? what sort of limitations would there be to doing this? i would imagine you could cut costs by having to hire less people for the up keep of equipment and for repairs since you'd have a small amount of towers to work with in a given area. less people also means smaller fleet of vehicles and tools need to keep on hand and office space is reduced.

am i wrong in my reasoning?

i bet if he used a linux based oven he could get a 33% better taste out of the pie. just imagine a beowulf cluster of linux ovens you could heat up grits at a staggering rate and with your linux sewing machines you could build better hot pants with which to put them in!

hold on, i have to recompile the kernel in my pants! damnit, no support for my zipper! I should check the message boards... oooooo! new build of the GTK-Portman toolset!

  5. Re:End of the BSOD on Computer Expectations of Today, and a Decade Hence? · · Score: 2, Informative

Never had any major problems out of my Win2K box. Only time I've had BSOD's is when hardware failed or a bad driver. I've had the same install for over a year now and it still runs fast as it did from day one. It acts as a website for three different devolpment sites, an FTP server, and hosts my VR terminal services server. Currently been up for 17 days 14 hours.

Make what you want of it.
