The problem with your navigation keys is that you've got the system caret accessibility option turned on. In Tools->Options->Advanced->Accessibility, turn off 'Move system caret with focus/selection changes'. Navigation keys should now act just like MSIE.
I have not one but TWO working NES's. And a few games, not as many as I'd like, but enough. But they only work intermittently, that's why we have two. (So when one stops working we switch to the other.)
They did not ignore it. In MANY of the books Luke still struggles with the dark side, but ever time the light side wins in him. In the book 'Truce at Bakura' (which takes place immediately after RotJ) Luke deals with that a little, but more so with later books. It's been a while since I read them, but I do remember clearly that he almost turned to the dark side more than once. They could not turn him to the dark side permanently, though, because that would ruin the running theme of rebirth in the New Republic.
One thing the books haven't done is refer to the events of Episode 1-3 in anything but vague terms. When Episode 1 came out, books began incorporating that story, and I'm sure they are starting with Episode 2 now. Check: there is no book that I know of that describes the clone wars or the fall of the jedi (which are Episode 2-3). And if they do, it is general, and would fit with anything Lucas did concerning that topic. I believe some of the books did mention the name Dooku, but few other major players are mentioned.
I thought they did a pretty decent job of explaining Count Dooku. But that may be because I've read quite a large portion of the Expanded Universe, and he is explained there so I knew info to fill in the gaps left by the movie.
Yes, but check out Promenade Way in that MSN map vs the Google hybrid map.
If you look at the product comparison on the Google Earth website it says that the measure area feature is in Google Earth Pro. http://earth.google.com/product_comparison.html
Gmail most certainly does use SSL for viewing mail. I'm using it right now.
No. This is normal... they're just dupes.
But seriously, I am getting current articles from the feed.
