sorry, but a RHPS performance that's open to anyone isn't a house party. The basic thing I want to get across is too many people have a stick up their butt. The OP may be a jerk for refusing, but it's his prerogative and his time.

As a thought experiment: if your local paper sent someone to the show to take pictures for publication would they get releases from the actors? I'm guessing they would, which would put the performance at least in the grey area between public and private. I'm betting (some of) those performers wouldn't have gone to the opera wearing their RHPS lingerie.

You don't need a release to report the news, sorry. Of course you wouldn't go the opera in lingerie - what a stupid thing to say - you wouldn't go in torn jeans either.

Is this intended as an excuse?

Women drive each other crazy in part because men keep making it matter

Right. You yourself said that women do it without prodding from men. The worst thing to deal with at work is a female boss and a female report - change either one to male and you're fine, but women in charge of women seems to bring out the bitch.

geez, did you even read the post? He's saying that if we spend all our energy worrying about gender roles and ignore that they actually work, the traditionalists will eat our lunch. I tend to associate a higher standard of living with lower birth rates, as recent research shows that one of the main reasons for the lower birth rate in western nations is access to birth control: urban living and mechanized farming mean that there's less need for tons of kids.

You're still not safe from the FBI if something incriminating is stuck in a remapped block, because you can't get at those. The first part is legal in canada so far as I know, and it's also legal in most places in the US - there's generally a 3 year age gap exemption. Of course, they prosecute anyway, and never the girl, even if she is the older of the couple. Hell, I even read about one state that send a guy to prison for having sex with his 17 year old wife (he wasn't much older)
