Yea, though I think somehow Juan got his karma back above zero for awhile. As for c_m, I've seen him over at Geekizoid. I don't know about shitsack or p_t, though. I've been gone a lot, too, but it's been for other things. I've had some problems in my life and haven't been around much to post here recently. *shrug* Hell, the only reason I'm on now is I'm waiting around awhile, hoping to hear from my girlfriend.
And I'd like to see Michael Sims fired from Slashdot, but the 25 cents to get a blowjob from him is much too high a price. The only takers would be his former co-workers (*cough* Malda *cough*). Anyways, I'm out for now.. later.
Since when can we abridge the right to a speedy trial by peers? Oh wait, he's just another evil bastard like Kevin Mitnick, he shouldn't have any rights. It's funny how quickly we are willing to abandon the rules in the name of big money.
The internet boom was based on companies advertising one another and with very few actually turning a profit, there simply wasn't enough money to pay for advertising on other sites and pay the operating costs. It works on other media such as the TV, newspaper, radio, but only because they are ads from businesses that generally have a good viable model of business and are turning profits. Giving away services free is a good thing, but without some other way of generating revenue, or having sponsors who are turning profits, you will end up operating at a loss. Maybe there will be more freebies again when there are better sponsors turning profits through good business models rather than advertising for other companies with the same business model. Advertising is good, but you need actual profits in at least some companies to supplement it.
I'm glad to see this happen, though the worst damage to Rambus was almost certainly not done by patent infringement but by their own excessive use of litigation. The company put so much effort and resources into it that they're adversely affected their profits as described here. I still think they could be a good company and maybe the drop in profits and the courts' unwillingness to award them the settlements they were seeking will serve as a wake-up call to them.
I'm not sure what's new about background microwave radiation as evidence for the big bang theory.
In this article, there is a good discussion on the big bang theory and it's origins.
The discovery of background radiation is described well in this article. The work was done by Penzias and Wilson in 1965. As for the CNN article referring to this as the "cosmic match that ignited the big bang," classical theories break down at the singularity which we presume the universe began from. Because space and time break down at this singularity, how can we identify a cause? The only events in space and time that matter are the ones after the big bang. The article isn't well written and with what's written about it, it seems to be the same work done 36 years ago that I cited above. I'm sure there's a reason it's making the news now, but whatever the discovery is, the article doesn't do it justice.
If you wanted to be a real troll, you'd spend your time looking at goatse.cx rather than that crap site. You're just a pathetic wannabe like all the other ACs. Grow up and get a UID.
You know, I'd much rather use it on someone worth insulting instead of your lame sorry crab-infested ass. Besides, I'm a real troll unlike you who just seems to infect Slashdot with your gayness. Fuck off.
Good fp! It's good to see someone other than a lame AC get it.
Excessive use? Any use of spork_testicle is excessive!
st
You are an AC. Therefore you have no right to call anyone a lamer. You should drag yourself into the street and shoot yourself for posting as an AC.
You have no right to call anyone dumb when you can't even spell "baseball" let alone using proper capitalization.

Hi, mackga. What's up? Long time, no type to.
Jeff Bates is Rob Malda's gay lover

So, who do you like in the game tonight? Blues or Sharks?

But it beats trolling as an AC, and I'm certainly a better troll than you are. So shut up.
No, it's not Shitsack. It's me. I'm a new troll here. So please die. Thanks.
