There is even a real Nintendo Gameboy superstar: Alec Empire, the lead of the famous Atari Teenage Riot, had a side project called the Nintendo Teenage Robots. One album was made, called 'We Punk Einhezit!' and all of the songs on it were constructed on a Gameboy. It was released in 1999 on Digital Hardcore Recordings.
Some of the songs are: 'Condom Personality', 'I don't get the printer' and 'Beatles never counted'. I saw the project live this summer and it was the coolest: just one guy, one Gameboy and one hell of sound....
I always thought that comparisons had to be done with some kind of objectivity, if only for the purpose of decency... Apparantly this is not the case: MFC was produced by hordes of rabid monkees while God himself came down and Created Qt.
Even not a C/C++ developer myself, I don't see a lot of proof / illustration to the MFC side and way too much positive adjectives on the Qt side: "genious", "excellent",...
The best one was probably: "One of the stated goal of Trolltech is "The product and the documentation should be so good that no support is needed".

They state, keeping a straigth face, that when they recruite 300 youngsters with this campaign it will be succesfull.
Small calculation: 7.5 million $ for a result of 300: that's 25.000 $ a head !!
They should hire me as a HR consultant: i would do it like the in the old times, cheap and efficient: pick up drunks in bars and make them sign in exchange for not getting kicked to death...:-)
Slashdot editors please read the article !!!

It states very clearly that it only attempts to download certain files when searching on the local machine / LAN /... and DOES send information to a *.microsoft.com server when searching on the internet through the utility.
... if this payment method is going to be mainstream, the Linux/GNU model is going to become more and more attractive to both the enterprises and the small companies...
This is one of the first steps in integrating the GPL thinking in the "old" enterprises. Although I don't like the software they make, thank you SAP...
Yep, and I think we slashdotted his site and thus... the plugin :-)

Shouldn' you be coding critical business apps instead of hanging around on Slashdot?
This is a bit of a strange review:

Simple:
;-)
ZeoSync(data) = miniData
miniData is randomdata
ZeoSync(miniData) = miniMiniData = ZeoSync(ZeoSync(data))
ad infinitum
If someone claims to do real lossless compression of random data, this is impossible...
As all data would be no data, hence my newest haiku
"I would rather not have anything that comes in uninvited and messes with my computers,"
Two words: Microsoft Windows
