I also had problems with the school district here.
It disturbs me that kids under 18 have absolutely no rights whatsoever, and the schools are allowed to behave in ways toward our children that should not be allowed under our constitution. Unfortunately, the ACLU told me that they only accept "winning cases", meaning that if there isn't much of a chance that they'll win in court, we're S.O.L.
