Works on Boxee Box (not linux boxee software) and Roku, which is linux-based.
There are lots of articles online about how to rip streaming netflix shows using windows, so my hunch is that Reed Hastings' seat on the Microsoft board is hindering a Linux Netflix client.
Open Arena is a small, but active community. There are always open games to play online, and some crazy mods (like Defrag to learn how to circle jump) that make it fun.
Works great in linux with old hardware as it's based off Quake III.
Yes, this review should have compared against the Nook Tablet.
Nook Tablet is also an A9 dual core 1GHz, it has twice the ram at 1GB than the Fire and twice the on-board storage at 16GB. They're both the OMAP4430 with the same graphics chip. If you're just looking at hardware, it appears the Nook Tablet wins:

If you can't produce an IOU, or any similar document listing what was sold and for how much and what the terms of payment were, then you'll be hit with this law.
Privacy keeps eroding towards no anonymity. This law does appear to restrict (and ultimately reduce) anonymous transactions.
What economic motive would provide an incentive to trace all second-hand transactions?
Tax motive: ideally taxes were paid on the first sale; are they required on all subsequent sales?
Raw consumption motive: discourages purchasing of "junk" to encourage more retail consumption?
Corporate motive: someone has to keep track of this data, a government contract winner would be excited for the data mining potential.
Other motive?
How hot is it inside the tiny "cabins" of the cars? Do they have ventilation? Like another poster mentioned, they obviously don't have air conditioning.
As this is a long race, and the cars are obviously optimized to be as light and aerodynamic as possible, are the drivers always listening to their teammates over radio or do they get to kick it to some tunes? Seems like driver's choice of music may help them in the endurance race. (Follow up: if any of them listen to music, what genre, specifically what tempo?)
So does my toddler; when we say "strong" he flexes his bicep like will.i.am. Though when comparing this with Feist's, if you pause at the end of hers you can tell she was super-happy about doing the performance, while it seemed [at first] that Will.i.am was hung-over or really tired and kinda bored looking. Upon many views later, I've mostly decided he's trying to downplay his "pumped up & party" persona (though he still probably hit it hard the night before:). There are many popular songs that artists have re-done for Sesame Street and with one exception (Katy Perry), they've all "dressed down" their clothes and makeup.
What's funny is the Sesame St video is of much higher quality on YouTube. (Also, I like the song better than the original too and so does my 1.8 yr old toddler.)
The only exciting part of this new Mojolicious is to expand on a bunch of Perl web stuff you might already maintain. I don't have any large apps (like slashdot), but many "single page" type applications that process data or serve up custom reports. The simple pages simply flush stdout so when displaying long output appear speedy to the user. Others use some javascript and cludgy.html() replacements. Websockets and json support would be nice when extending these applications where the "bulk" of the code written in plain Perl doesn't need to be modified.
Or you could look at the bottom. Only the iPad has the single square button in the center; while the Tab has the 4 android soft buttons. Perhaps the soft buttons are not distinguishable at a far distance, but you could look for the iPad's button.
I'm not excited about those taglines, but some sort of reputation (like a link to a search query of all previous accepted & declined submissions) would be nice to help identify frequent (or in this case, new) submitters.
On Reddit, if a comment is longer than one line, it's TL;DR. Highly attention deficit discussions can only take place. Though that combined with the minimal comment 'chrome' does allow for reading comments that aren't all inherited from the first few posts. (And encourages many witty one-line replies.)
Dude, I would *love* a 12" android tablet with a high-res screen! Galaxy tab 10" seems slick, but bigger is better! I don't care about thickness: an awesome screen + extra long battery life is worth a premium price to me.
Agreed. Proxies (like the Silk browser uses, even if fancy like Opera's OBML) *shouly* only proxy/format plain HTTP data. Any HTTPS connections *must* go direct from device to server: end-to-end.
I hope the browser displays a warning every time if it truly proxies HTTPS content! (And iconally shows the 'broken padlock' or jolly rodger.)

How does the FFC enforce the no-encryption limitation for payload of the packet data?
If I broadcast with a friend a few miles away and setup an IP tunnel, how do they enforce encapsulation? (What if the friend sends an https request?)

Though the example using a StringBuilder was ugly. Seems you should either generate readable code or efficient code.
You use any Open Source software to control those LightORama controllers?
I want the editor's note on why the BillGatusOfBorg icon has been changed! Rob Malda leaves and the humor with him!?
Great point, sexconker:

So true! Even if you use strict;, apply liberal comments, and avoid $_ and @_ whenever possible.

Yeah, that's called the Real Doll [NSFW].
Or just read the RSS feed...
It's news I care about, across all of the categories. And I learn a lot from reading the comments.

Wait, a Slashdot book review of a book not published by Packt Publishing?
I didn't think that was possible. By the same reviewer no less!

Even better than stock Tomato (who's GUI and features are awesome) is TomatoVPN that includes a build of OpenVPN!
