While OpenGL MAY have more effects, its image quality is far far far less than desirable. Have you seen Tribes 2 running in D3D and OpenGL? How about UT?
D3D is absolutely sickening! It also doesn't even have half the speed tyhat opengl does, however that may just be drivers issues, but on a Geforce, it ought not to be, imo...
