From the "Code Red" link on E2: A red version of Mountain Dew, a soft drink second in caffeine content only to Jolt, openly marketed to the urban, minority community. The desire to penetrate minority markets was so prominent that Pepsi largely chose the drink's flavor in order to do so. At first, the company toyed with the idea of coloring the new soda blue and sticking "arctic" in the name. But conventional wisdom in the soft drink business states that people from minority groups favor sweet, fruity flavors. So, the company's researchers regrouped and came up with Wild Cherry Mountain Dew. The taste was right, but the name was too tame. Enter Code Red."

Anybody dumb enough to get on that island again deserves what he gets
And anybody dumb enough to go see that movie deserves what he gets...
Did either of you actually pay attention while you were in the theater? The third movie takes place on a DIFFERENT island than the first. You should pay more attention to facts before you go pointing fingers - especially you, Katz. ---
Use one of the public accouts...

"Gentleman, we can rebuild him/her.
We have the technology.
We have the capability to make the world's first Bionic man/woman.
Unnamed Source will be that man.
Better than he/she was before.
Better . . . stronger . . . faster."
. . . a very nice example of something that couldn't be done in the pre-Net era.
A very noble thing to say, but actually, it could be done beofre the pre-net era. What could be done, is a group of people who want to participate are given the task to do one of the tiles for the mosaic, and then submit them, and they have each tile randomly assigned a number, after which they would be put in the mosaic in that order. It would not be nearly as cool as this one, but it would still be feasiable. ---
I am not sure about this at all, as I have very little experience with solar sail technology, but wouldn't the sail start moving away from any sun it came close to? For instance, it is moving away from our sun because of the photon "wind" against the sail, so why would it come close enough to another civilization (assuming they are near a star)? Why woulnd't it just sit at a nice equlibrium point between x number of stars? ---
It has tens of pictures of REAL and working Dual Socket A motherboards, with a nice bit of information. Of course, it is in Japanese, but the pictures are *great*. ---
that the practical applications of this are phenomenal!:) Just kidding. It is actually pretty neat. Three thousand (give or take) miles per gallon - now if only my CAR would be that efficient! ---
I can afford five and one half hours! Who needs college? I'm going to the ISS and play with the toys!:) I would certainly love to. Too bad the United States of Iron Fist Policy keeps such a tight lid on space. *sighs* They will be shocked when I take off in my *own* shuttle and get outta here!:) ---

..."Advanced" be "Advance"? Just wondering, as I can not find any title like that on the linked page.

Not to mention that "Presidents" should read "President's"....

Try dual 21 inch screens. The last LAN I went to was up five flights of stairs. I think I herniated myself.

Yeah, but what is the resolution?

2) They converted all their metric units correctly
3) It does not burn up in the atmosphere on approach
Sorry, couldn't resist! :)
