No doubt, I posted my resume last month, had an interview two days later, job offer in another week. Walking distance to my home in the Loop, and more salary than I was asking for. I could have gone up to Wisconsin or down to Indy for more money relative to the cost of living, but I like Chicago and staying near my friends. Sure it's not as exciting as California with the earthquakes, mudslides, fires, and power shortage. It's really boring here at the lakefront, 75 degrees, sunny... I better go outside!

I saw the dot.com crash coming. (One piece of evidence: I got out of the stock market completely in February of 2000.)
Why get completely out if you knew it was coming? You should have short sold the dot coms and made a bundle.
You're correct. I've had (technically proficient) friends considering Linux confused just over KDE vs. Gnome... I tell them it doesn't matter, it's just point and click anyway, but they stay hung up over this issue (but such and such uses KDE, what if Gnome goes away and I wasted my time) and it's sad because they just drop the whole thing. I guess the whole GUI thing really is important to Linux acceptance by users.
..but there are various lawsuits saying that gun companies shoot people...
I'm not sure that a filed lawsuit means that you conclusively assign blame. People file lawsuits all the time, but until it's been tried and judged, you really can't say anything. There's this story about a lawsuit saying game companies caused Columbine. So is that it, we can now blame them?
Where this could really shine would be at a amusement park. Analyzing the emotions of both people on rides as well as getting off of rides would really help give you a more direct picture of how fun, scary, or boring your park is.
You don't really need a camera... just measure how much vomit ends up on the sidewalk outside a ride.

What about teleportation?
Tech Support = Bad
should be "Tech Support == Bad"
Thus, Tech Support is Bad. Now we know why.

Maybe a clever cleaver.
Get a clear computer case, then mess with the airwaves real good.

See this for info on Resource Description Framework... with XML becoming so huge, we are going to have so many new acronyms, huh?
