Uh, the Libertarian Party would have no problem with a private entity searching its employees. It would however have a problem with the government telling said entity that it can't. Are you sure you're a Libertarian?
You don't have a *right* to work in your lab, it's something your employer allows you to do, with their own conditions. Quit if you don't like it, but don't escalate your situation to an *unreasonable search*, that's not what it is.
