Does anyone else believe that this is getting a little out of control? According to the LA Times there have been 70 cases of the Measles that have spread through four states and Mexico.
Southern California alone has 3 million inhabitants and while they don't specify the other states it is a safe bet that we are talking about another several million people. Then there is Mexico with 122.3 million.
So after 70 people get the measles we are already debating whether people should be able to work if they are unvaccinated?
Samba is built into OSX and samba can be compiled on OSX. I dont see a problem with documentation because if you go to www.samba.org you will have plenty of documentation. Albeit apples gui configuration of samba is a little lacking but if you configure smb.conf you wont have any issues.
I do not want or need to waste my time consulting a lawyer to find out whether or not my networks security is within the confines of another moronic law. In other words the government never makes things simpler or better when it comes to these things (Take California gun laws for instance) they only make it more confusing and more difficult for me to do my job. For example, lets outlaw the ability for people to publish their security exploits. Now the black hats have all the information they need to destroy my network, but I don't have the information to prevent it.
Ya' it is $69 dollars but it only looks like they are making a $2.00 profit.... In order to be M$ compliant you need a Exchange CAL to use it which is $67 so it looks like they are selling their connector for $2 and including the CAL.
I have been doing this type of work for years now and have never been paid hourly. I am paid salary, so I would say you are pretty lucky to get paid for your OT at all.
