OK... spin it this way... VB scripting would start showing up in Linux as a result of an Office port. Do I really want to have Outlook or an app on my system that is so prone to worms? Right out of the box... I want to hear some hardcore VB people convince me that this is a good thing for Linux... I think its a good thing from the exposing people to new things front... Wordperfect was king in the days of DOS... Windows made Office a standard... and when you don't have to pay more money for OS licenses maybe, MAYBE you can convince someone to use StarOffice/OpenOffice. I stray from my subject... the opinions on VB scripting widespread in Linux?

You either need a hug or a kick in the ass... Because, you're in a camp that considers their technology something akin to a cult/religion... I usually rip on Mac folks for this, but there's one in every family... The reason I'm a Linux fan is that I have TOTAL control over how my system performs if I so choose... That's why Linux and other open alternatives will always be around. I don't want a GUI on my webserver or a database server... I'm a big fan of using the right tool for the right job. Linux just happens to be a better tool for a server OS and so when a company that offered services for it stops... I wonder how they think they're going to make money off of a jackass like you.

Opera 5 which pretty much outputs the same thing as IE can't get in NS is ok... but Mozilla... built on the same engine is not working... OK if your strategy is to make your propaganda less accessable then go ahead... We've just got to make sure their new customers find alternatives in better software. IE is a good browser... but from now on no site I develop will ever suggest Internet Explorer as a good choice for viewing my work. What else can we do?

I don't know if this applies everywhere but I believe there are lemon laws for most communities on computer hardware... Some say three repairs on the same sub-system constitutes a lemon... etc... I remember from a materials science course that GaAs semiconductors were more resistant to electromagnetic fields' influence... What kind of applications could these chips be better for than straight silicon? 11. Wasn't this old school? on Colorado May Map Drivers' Faces · · Score: 1

I remember watching something on the History Channel about how they used to map body measurements to identify convicts in Leavenworth. They abandoned this technique for static ID for fingerprints because they had two convicts with the same name and the exact same measurements in the joint at once. Not to say it wouldn't be somewhat useful in ruling out people in a crowd of suspects... But to absolutely try to ID some one based on this technology would still bring up enough errors to make it a waste of time. What am I doing up this early on a Saturday?
